Project writing script

All the way through term 4, a group of script writers and I have been working on the script and story. Right know we are just about done and I am very happy with it. I enjoyed writing it and coming up with ideas. If we had more time, we could probably make it even longer and better with all the ideas we have. I also enjoyed working with the other script writers and I feel happy that I have worked with new and different people. If I had a chance to write a script for a play again, I would definitely do it.

Into the fire posty

So far in 2017 I have been writing a book called into the fire. It is about a young man call Nick who was born in the Romanius Kingdom. At the time the book is set in, their is a civil war between the Romanius Kingdom and the Romanius Central powers. Nick joins the army with is best friend Alex as they both try to hold off the attackers from utterly defeating the Romanius kingdom. This is a book with traitors, war and tragedy. I hope the book will be done in 2018.

Humans workshop part 1

In term 4 week 2, we were given a new task about probability, it was to do about white kiwi. What we have to do is answer these questions and put them on an A3 piece of paper. You need to work out what the percentage is of getting white from 2 dads and 2 mums. Fro example, if dad 1 is B(B is brown, BB is brown, BW is brown, WB is also brown and W is white and WW is also white), and dad 2 is W. Mum 1 is W and mum 2 is W, Dad 1's B plus mum 1's W makes BW. Dad 2's W and Mum 1's W makes WW. Dad 1's B plus Mum 2's W make BW. Dad 2's W plus mum 2's W make WW.  That type of thing is the only thing that I have done so far. Overall, I have not been enjoying this because I do not understand the questions and how to do a few of them.

Humans workshop

In term 3 week 10, I got a task to work out some info about a famous landmark and then make that I chose Big Ben. After I had done the slide, I went out with my mum to get some resources to make Big Ben. All I got was three packs of clay. After that my dad and I made a plan about how we would make it. Then we realized we would need to buy some more stuff, so we went to Mitre 10 to get some paint and some clay modeling tools. After that we went back and made an inside out of wood. Then we started placing the clay around the wooden bit until it was covered. Then we added on the these out cropping bits on the clay. After that we started forming the top bits and putting them together. Then we let it dry, but some of it fell off so we had to re do it. After we had done that we painted it and added on the clock. I then took it in to school and you can see it in LC5. Overall, I really enjoyed making it, but I do not think i would do it again.

Project presentation #1

On Tuesday 24 of October 2017, I went to do my project where we were making a presentation/play/drama show. What we did is think about what type of story and we chose fantasy. Then we had to think about what we would have that is relevant to us. There is friendship, bullying, cyber bullying, just to name a few. we have to do friendship and we have to try and include as many as the others as we can. I then was told that I had to work on the script. After that we went back to class. Overall, I am really enjoying doing the project and the script. I am really happy I chose to do this.

Immersion with Chris/Amy

In week 10 term 3, I am doing Immersion with Chris and Amy. On the first session, we went to the Catalina playground. We had to write down what we would like in a senior playground. After we had written that we went back to class. In the second session we talked about what we would do if we were building a playground, we then did a survey and got the answers. After that we had to make it into a pie chart. At first I did not understand it but then I did after I asked Chris. During the third session we had to finish our pie charts. Then we had a look at some creative building. Then we started building a playground on tinkercad or drawing a playground. Then we talked about feedback and then we gave some feedback. Overall, I am not going to do this as a project.

Drama Immersion with Sarah and Jess

On term 3 week 9 I did drama with Jess and Sarah. One the first session we did some games. I can only remember one, which was where we had to do something and someone would come on and do the same thing you were doing. Then someone would com on and they would say what are you were doing. You would lie and say something you are not doing. Then you would walk off and the person has to what you said you were doing and so on. The things people came up with were quite imaginative. On the second session we did dance and moved our body into shapes and a few other things. On the third session we just did some fun games where you have to make someone smile or laugh or smirk. It was so fun to watch people trying to make you laugh, or listening to their funny jokes.
